

For any non-Surface system, plug in the flash drive that contains the Macrium Reflect Technician USB bootable files.For example, remove media drives from the server, remove drive bays from laptops, and/or remove media drives from desktops.On the system that will be imaged, shutdown the system and remove any non-OS drives.Part 2 – Booting to Macrium Reflect from Flash Drive The image files can be downloaded from Catapult. Drag and drop the necessary image files to this drive.Take a second flash drive or external hard drive – this one should be 64GB or larger – and plug into the system.Remove the flash drive and plug into the system that is about to be imaged.Drag and drop the 15 files and folders from the zip to the flash drive. Open up the zip file that contains the Macrium Reflect Technician USB files.This will take a few moments to complete. Under File System, make sure it says Fat32, for volume label you can name it whatever you want, make sure Quick Format is selected, and then click Start.This will completely erase whatever is on it so backup files if they are important. Go to My Computer and right click the inserted flash drive and select format.
